Thomas Robinson (1817-1909)
Thomas was one of 8 known children of James and Martha
(McMullen/McMullin) Robinson. At least 3 of the oldest were born in
Ireland. According to an article about their son William Robinson’s
son William (the Civil War veteran who moved to the Plymouth,
Illinois area after the war), James and Martha (McMullen) Robinson’s
son William was born in County Tyrone, Ireland (now Northern
Ireland).

- 2. James Robinson (1802-8/9/1865) Born in (N.) Ireland. Died in PA. USA. Single
- 3. William Robinson (Nov 1802 – 8/5/1879). Born County Tyrone, (N.) Ireland. Died in Illinois, USA.
- Married 1st: Elizabeth Moore, the mother of his children. They
lived in the Uniontown, PA area, (Fayette County, North Union
twp?) until after the Civil War.
- Married 2nd: Keziah Bradbury (5/16/1816 – 10/22/188?) William
and Keziah buried in Round Tree Cem, just outside Plymouth,
Illinois, USA
- 4. John C. Robinson born 1806 in MD. Raised in Fayette Co, PA.
- Married Rebecca Elliott. Their son Benjamin Elias Robinson was
in the Civil War. John and “Becky” Rebecca (Elliott) Robinson
moved west after the Civil War. They were with John’s brother
William when William died in Illinois. (Ref 1879 letter from
